1. gregarious   adjective   

原句: Most Amaricans prefer hearty handshakes and often consider less-gregarious Korean greetings as weak and effeminate.

意思: liking to be with other people

字源: mid 17th cent.: from Latin gregarius (from grex, greg- ‘a flock’) + -ous. 

例句: She's very outgoing and gregarious.



2. outburst   noun  
 

原句: Many Japanese would never dream of making such an outburst.

意思: a sudden strong expression of an emotion

例句: She was alarmed by his violent outburst.



3. bellyache   verb   

原句: May be bellyaching about how tough times are.

意思: to complain a lot about sth in an annoying or unreasonable way

例句: He's always bellyaching about how much work he has to do.



4. vantage point   noun   

原句: From Price's vantage point as chief executive of TuneCore Inc..

意思: a position from which you watch sth; a point in time or a situation from which you consider sth, especially the past

字源: Middle English: from Anglo-Norman French, shortening of Old French avantage ‘advantage’.

意思: severe pain, mental suffering or unhappiness

字源: Middle English: via Old French from Latin angustia ‘tightness’, (plural) ‘distress’, from angustus ‘narrow’.
