1. lure   noun   

原句: What is more, the lure for advertisers and marketers is undeniable.

意思: the attractive qualities of sth

字源: Middle English: from Old French luere, of Germanic origin; probably related to German Luder ‘bait’. 

例句: Few can resist the lure of adventure.



2. gigantic   adjective  
 

原句: They are the best-positioned company in a gigantic market.

意思: extremely large

字源: early 17th cent. (in the sense ‘like or suited to a giant’): from Old French, via Latin from Greek gigas, gigant- + -ic. 

例句: The problem was beginning to take on gigantic proportions.



3. aggregate   verb

5. woo   verb

意思: to try to get the support of sb

字源: late Old English wōgian (intransitive), āwōgian (transitive), of unknown origin. 

例句: Voters are being wooed with promises of lower taxes.
